Market Context
Digital healthcare adoption has seen a sharp increase in the COVID and post-COVID era. According to our internal research at Pella Dynamics, telemedicine adoption rates multiplied by up to four times compared with pre-pandemic levels — defining the growing reliance on digital health technologies.
The HealthTech startup got in touch with us before launching a telemedicine platform offering online consultations, digital prescriptions, remote patient monitoring and home diagnostics.
The challenge: although the technology was highly advanced, the company was having a hard time earning trust. Unlike many technology sectors, healthcare decisions rely heavily on credibility, scientific evidence and regulatory compliance. Our role was to position the brand as a trusted healthcare innovator among all the other emerging startups.

Strategic Analysis
The startup faced three barriers to adoption:
- Very low brand awareness within the UAE healthcare ecosystem
- Difficulty building clinical credibility with patients, doctors, hospitals and investors
- The need to look innovative while remaining compliant with UAE healthcare regulations
Healthcare technology adoption — globally, and even more so in the Middle East — is based on trust, regulatory firmness and medical authority. Every element of the communications strategy therefore focused on increasing the perceived value of the brand's expertise and clinical relevance, supporting long-term reputation through transparent, evidence-based communication.
Our Strategy
The Pella Dynamics strategy team created a healthcare communications initiative focused on expert credibility, research-led storytelling and industry engagement.
01 — Establishing Clinical Credibility
The campaign strengthened the company's medical reputation by creating news around its collaborations with licensed healthcare professionals and its partnerships with reputable clinics and healthcare firms. Testimonials and success stories demonstrating improved patient experiences were published on digital platforms, alongside clinician commentary explaining the benefits of telemedicine.
Our messaging consistently reinforced that qualified medical professionals remained at the centre of patient care.

02 — Demonstrating Regulatory Awareness
All healthcare communications were carefully aligned with the UAE's regulatory environment. Every press release, media interview and marketing communication reflected:
- Compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
- Clear answers to doubts about AI-assisted healthcare
- Reassurance on patient privacy and data protection practices
This proactive regulatory awareness showed media, investors and healthcare stakeholders that the company prioritised patient safety alongside innovation.
03 — Medical Advisors as Brand Ambassadors
To build trust, we leveraged the voices of independent healthcare experts:
- Medical advisory board members featured in interviews
- Specialist doctors contributing opinion articles
- Ongoing expert commentary on digital healthcare trends
Having respected medical advisors speak publicly strengthened trust and positioned the company as a credible healthcare partner.

04 — Evidence-Based Communication
Every healthcare-related claim was supported with credible evidence: clinical studies where applicable, pilot programme outcomes, patient satisfaction metrics and usage statistics demonstrating platform adoption. The brand's use of measurable evidence earned greater trust from journalists, healthcare professionals and potential investors.
